Reasons for The Breakage of The Band Saw Blade of The Automatic Vertical Bandsaw Sawmill

When the automatic vertical bandsaw sawmill is running, the band saw blade moves back and forth, and there are abnormal phenomena such as breaking noise. The band saw blade may have large cracks, and it should be stopped immediately for inspection. There are several reasons for band saw blade breakage:

1. Reasons for customized wood working vertical band sawmill:

①The wood working vertical band sawmill vibrates and the bearing is worn. The machine tool should be reinforced and the bearings replaced to make it stable.

② The tensioning device fails and the hammer is too heavy. Check the tensioning device and adjust the weight properly.

③ The surface of the saw wheel is uneven. The rim surface should be flat.

④ The upper and lower saw wheels are skewed and not on the same "vertical plane". Adjust and correct the upper and lower saw wheels.

2. Reasons for customized band saw blade:

①Cheap band saw blade steel is brittle and has low toughness. Choose a saw blade with good toughness.

②The saw wheel is small and the saw blade is thick. Choose a saw blade that is suitable for the saw wheel. Saw blade thickness = (0.0007-0.001) × saw wheel diameter.

③ The appropriate tension is too large or too small. Moderate tonic trim.

④The joint is not strong and the repair is poor. The joints are well welded and trimmed.

⑤ The sawtooth is not sharp, and the use time is too long. The serrations are sharp and the use time is limited to two hours.

⑥ The band saw blade has cracks and is barely used. Drill a small hole at the root of the crack to avoid expansion; if it is too large, it should be cut off and reconnected.

3. Operation reason:

①The feeding speed of the automatic vertical bandsaw sawmill is too large, and the feeding speed should be controlled flexibly according to the specific situation.

②The feeding is too fast, or the speed is not slowed down in case of knots. The feeding is stable, and the speed is slowed down when encountering a section.

③There is resin on the saw wheel, and the sawdust is too thick. Scrape off resin sawdust in time.
