Many users find that with the prolongation of use time, the horizontal sawmill has more and more problems, which are more and more difficult to solve. Today, YSDMILL will discuss some knowledge in this area with you, hoping to give some inspiration and help to our customers and friends, so that we can have a deeper understanding of the band saw machine.
What should I pay attention to when working with horizontal sawmill?
1. The thickness of the saw blade of the horizontal sawmill should be compatible with the matching band saw wheel. Avoid using large thickness saw blades for small wheels, which can cause breakage and injury.
2. The teeth of the band saw blade should be sharp, and the tooth depth should not exceed 1/4 of the width of the saw blade.
3. The band saw blade should be firm and smooth during welding. There are more than 3 pieces of wood at the joint, the length between the two joints should be greater than 1/5 of the total length, and the thickness of the joint should be basically the same as the thickness of the saw blade.
4. Strictly control the transverse crack of the band saw blade. If the crack is too long, it should be cut and re-welded.
5. If a large band sawmill with log carriage is used, the track of the log carriage should be straight, with travel switches at both ends, and warning bars on both sides of the log carriage.
